GAME STORY
In 1999, a doctor of maths and biology, named Syakuei Yoshiyama, fell in love with an artificial woman whom he had programmed and brought to life on his computer. The doctor inserted himself into his machine in order to be with this life-form and the two had a child together. This child, since he was born from a human father and a C-Life mother, ended up being half human and half code. This allowed him to travel easily between the real world and CG space and gave him the ability to manipulate electricity. This boy was Pulseman.
Years later a series of crimes began to spread across the globe, all connected by the evil organisation, Galaxy Gang, the leader of this group being a mysterious man known as Doc Waruyama.
Now, in the year 2015, Pulseman (with the help of his partner, Beatrice) takes action to face Doc Waruyama and stop his evil plans once and for all. |

C-LIFE
"In 1987 artificial life (A-Life) was concepted and soon brought into existance. A-Life are organisms that live in the memory space of the computer. The 'artificial' part of A-Life refers to the fact that these organisms are not sentient as such and therefore not "creative". As programming languages, knowledge and skill improved over time, it became possible to improve on these A-Life organisms, creating "C-Life"; an organism that is sentient and therefore has a 'sense of creativity'." |

GALAXY GANG
Refered to as "GG" for short, the Galaxy Gang was formed by Waruyama to be a secret society of evil. Their goal is galactic cosmic conquest and they're determined to achieve it at any cost. The motto of the organisation is "Work evily to try and surprise people" or something to that effect. A truely evil organisation. |

THE INTRO CUTSCENE CIPHER
The introduction that is shown after the title screen if the game is left to sit contains some garbled nonsense that comes up after Yoshiyama logs into his computer. This has recently been identified by Hakurou on NicoNico and translated into english by PepsimanGB. The cipher turned out to be romanji with the vowel part of the syllables removed, unless the word started with a vowel.
Once deciphered, the text becomes a conversation between Yoshiyama and the C-Life Woman.
Full credit to Hakurou and PepsimanGB for this information.
